Program Files
Vienna 2.2 requires Mac OSX 10.3.9 or later and an internet connection. Vienna is Universal, running natively on both Intel and PowerPC Macs. Versions of Vienna later than 2.2 will require Mac OSX 10.4 or later.
To download Vienna, click the appropriate link below and follow your browser instructions to download to a folder on your hard disk. Then double-click the downloaded file to open it (Safari may do this automatically for you) and copy the Vienna application file to your Applications folder.

Vienna 2.2.2 (Localised) This is the latest public version of Vienna including localised text for French, Swedish, German, Italian, Dutch, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, Danish, Czech, Japanese, Euskara (Basque), Ukrainian, Russian, Korean, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. After downloading, simply copy the program to your Applications folder. |

Vienna 2.2.2 (US English) This is the latest public non-localised version of Vienna for non-US English customers who want to run the US English version of Vienna. After downloading, simply copy the program to your Applications folder. |

This is the brand new pre-release version of Vienna 2.3. It is made available for users who want to play with the latest builds before they are officially released. Pre-release builds are lower quality than release builds and may contain serious bugs so be sure to back up your database first. NOTE: Vienna 2.3 and later require Mac OSX 10.4 and later builds and will NOT run on Mac OSX 10.3.9 or earlier. |
Custom Toolbar
Vienna 2.2 or later supports customising the toolbar by changing the toolbar resources. The following customisations are currently offered.
Custom Styles
To install custom styles, click on the style name to download it then double-click the downloaded file to unpack the ZIP file. (Browsers like Safari will automatically unpack the file for you). Then finally double-click the extracted .viennastyle file to automatically install the style into Vienna.

Vienna AppleScripts
To install these scripts, click on the link to download them then double-click the downloaded ZIP file to unpack the enclosed script. Then copy the unpacked script to your Library/Scripts/Applications/Vienna folder. You will need to restart Vienna to get the script to show up in the Vienna Scripts menu.
If Vienna is already running then you can also install the scripts by dragging them over the Vienna application in the dock.

Installing the Quick Pick Script
Follow these instructions to install and use the Quick Pick script in Apple's Backup 3.0 utility.
- Download and unzip uk.co.opencommunity.vienna.quickpick.zip
- Exit backup.app if it's running.
- Drag uk.co.opencommunity.vienna.quickpick to /Library/Application Support/Backup/QuickPicks/
To use QuickPick in Backup 3.0:
- Click the + button in the lower left corner to create a new backup plan and choose "Custom."
- Give a name to Backup Plan, e.g., "Vienna Backup." Under "Backup Items," click the + button to add an item.
- In the "QuickPicks" tab, choose "Vienna" and click "Done."
- Set up a destination and a schedule and you're done.
